How To Make Manifesting Your Superpower

What thought went through your mind when you first heard of manifesting? Was it “that sounds pretty woo-woo?” It’s okay, it was my first thought too! But it turns out that manifesting is actually scientific. I studied it and then put it to work in my business to manifest money, clients, and opportunities without all the hustle.

The biggest key to manifesting

The first thing you need to know about manifesting is that you’re already doing it.

You have an energy that you are emitting at all times and that energy aligns with something. It might be what you want but it might also be what you don’t want. You can’t help manifesting things into your life…but you can become intentional about it. You can have control over the energy you are putting out.

So why not harness your manifesting to bring good things into your life?

When you manifest good things it feels like luck. You have those moments of amazement at the serendipity of life. When things just fall into place as they should. You created that. Instead of feeling stunned by it, you can start feeling gratitude and joy that your manifestation is working for you.

It all starts with thoughts

It turns out that most of us are living with thought patterns that have become habitual. The same thought pathways get worn over again and again and again. Those thoughts build our reality and a lot of the time we aren’t even aware of them.

The good news is, you can change habitual thoughts. You can change limiting habitual thoughts into powerful ones. Your brain is not stuck the way it is.

And once you learn to do that, nothing is out of your reach.

I discovered manifestation by accident.

I started feeling like things were just really lining up for me. Things I needed were just appearing. Later when I learned what manifestation was I saw that I already had a good mindset. But it becomes so much more powerful when I did it with intention!

This is all based in quantum physics, a topic that has always fascinated me! So you don’t have to be a “spiritual” person to use manifestation to bring what you want into your life.

It’s simple but not always easy.

There was a time in my life that I was completely broke. I had no money. What changed it for me was having my first daughter.

When I saw that child I knew I had to do something to turn my life around.

Now I have built three businesses to success. An idea would come to me, I’d jump into it and go for it. And my visions came to fruition. I learned to trust that the vision was a prompt from the universe and I didn’t doubt that it was going to come true.

I believed that this was meant for me.

It starts with mindset, but then comes action and the growth of confidence.

Most of us don’t know how to take action.

We get stuck in thoughts and fears and don’t know how to take action. You can’t be just waiting for the day you have more money or the day you become confident. Action is a crucial piece of manifesting money, love interests, your dream home, or anything else.

To be intentional with manifestation, you need to understand how the brain works. There are two main parts to our brain, there’s the part that learns new things and there’s the part that is habitual. (Like when you drive somewhere and realize you have no memory of the trip at all!)

About 95% of your life is habitual. And there’s a purpose to that. The habit part of your brain cares about keeping you alive! But it also prevents us from taking action and trying new things.

Instead of taking action we tend to get caught up in anticipatory anxiety about things that haven’t even happened yet and fears that we won’t be good at it, we won’t do it right. To break the loop and get your life going in a new way you have to put aside those anxieties and take action. As you act, as you discover that you can do it, your confidence grows.

There’s a Marx Brothers movie called Duck Soup that I watched as a child. There’s one part where Groucho starts worrying that the diplomat he’s meeting might not shake his hand. And how embarrassing that would be. He starts getting really worked up with this fear of being humiliated by having his handshake rejected. When the man shows up and holds out his hand to shake, Groucho shouts “How dare you not shake my hand!” and storms off.

As a kid I thought this was so ridiculous. It didn’t make any sense. I turned to my mom and said, “No one would do that.” And she said, “Oh honey, people do that every day.”

The worrying and the ruminating thoughts are one of the ways that our brains create our reality. It becomes the self-fulfilling prophecy.

But you can make the self-fulfilling prophecy a good one!

Work with your brain to anticipate luck and goodness. Expect good things to happen to you. And consciously believe it. Not sub-consciously—consciously!

My background has been in hairdressing for years and years. My first two businesses were centered on things for hairdressers. Rising Wolf is the first time that I knew I could help more people in different ways.

In hairdressing a lot of what I do is habitual. I’ve been doing it for years, I know it inside and out. But when I learn a new technique I am activating my pre-fontal cortex. Eventually that new technique can move into habit, but it’s important to activate the learning brain.

One trick to activating the action taking part of your brain is to countdown from five. Five, four, three, two, one…and then you are primed and ready to go!

Action is what brings new things to you. Action grows your confidence.

You are not stuck.
